This wonderful vintage Matryoshka Dolls Pin is so darn cute! These tiny Russian matryoshka dolls are made of wood that has been beautifully painted by hand, they dangle from a safety pin style brooch that is approx. 3 inches long.

This marvellous Russian toy should be considered a cult object for it’s specific construction and design perfect for concealing spells and secrets. They were traditionally carved from Birch wood. Which was considered a sacred tree. This wood is believed to drive off evil spirits, evil eye, & also offer protection.
