Devil’s Shoestring is known for its versatility in Hoodoo and other spiritual traditions. These include but are not limited to protection, hex breaking, gambling luck, job-getting, fertility, and “tripping up the Devil” so he can’t get in to your home. Let the bottle to sit for nine days. Next time that you go to gamble, apply for a job, or do anything that requires luck, dip your fingers in the liquid and run it through your hair nine times. You can also rub this “wash” on your hands any time you want more luck.
