Baltic Amber Ancestral Lines Spider Ring

CAD $450.00

The Baltic Amber Ancestral Lines Spider Ring has associations with time, cycles, and longevity. As Baltic Amber was once a living substance, it is related to spirit.

In Slavic folklore spiders and their webs represent good luck, perseverance, patience, fortune telling, love, and the fulfilment of wishes. The Pavuk (“spider”) motif is found on pysanky eggs, folk art, and in the traditional geometric Straw mobiles. Slavic folklore tells of the earth being suspended on a warp spun by a spider. Ethnographers consider the pavuk to also be sun symbols based on their appearance.

The Amulets averted misfortune, for protection, and to keep one safe from black magic. They cast out devils, guarded against evil eye, brought luck in love, and made the owner stronger and cleverer. Warm to the touch and alleged to contain the very essence of life itself. People believed Baltic Amber “pulled out” diseases from the body and “attracted” good luck. Much in the same way it attracts small objects if you rub it.

Natural Baltic Amber has unique properties unlike any other amber in the world. Containing Succinic Acid a bio-stimulant used for centuries to promote healing.

Set in an adjustable ring of .925 sterling silver
