The Devils Blackberry Whisk

It was said the Devil landed in brambles when he was cast down from heaven and thus he cursed them so that they would be ugly. It is said that he hates them so much, he stomps on them on Michealmas Day and after that, it’s unlucky to harvest them. Other folklore says this happens on Halloween. Even so, blackberries were considered protective against crappy people, earthbound spirits and vampires. If planted near the home, vampires could not enter because they would obsessively count the berries and forget what he was about.
Place above the door as a talisman or burn as incense. Light the end, and let it smoulder. Allow the smoke to waft into the spaces you wish to cleanse and purify. Waft through the home or smoke those in need of healing, fertility, and protection against people or spirits. Blackberry is also said to repel ol’ Jack himself on this All Hallows’ night. Please make sure you extinguish when you are finished with the whisk this item can be used multiple times.
Traditionally bound at one end, this is a variation on a European Witches Whisk
Wildcrafted twigs of blackberry that were consecrated, bound, dyed with blackberry stain and dried by The Witch.
