My 2024 Solar Return Offering is as follows…
Strange Creature Oil: Representing all of us strange creatures, imps, and hobgoblins living deep in the dark forest. Venturing to places unknown, creating situations of liminality, giving us the wisdom to not care and offering us all transformation and growth. These flying dooders live in last years solar return forest oil base but have teleported us deeper to the bottom of the dark mountains. Once again the oil contains the quality of ambiguity or disorientation that occurs in the stages of a rite of passage. Participants no longer hold their pre-ritual status, but are now transitioning forward and deeper towards the end of the ritual. During a rite’s liminal stage, participants “stand at the threshold” between their previous way of structuring their identity, time, or community, and a new way (which completing the rite establishes). The forest can feature as a place of liminality, threatening danger, or one of refuge, or a chance at adventure.
Strange Creature Incense Cones: We kicked it up a notch this year and made INCENSE CONES! I think I might have drank too much wine when making these so they are extra juicy and super freaking potent.
Ukrainian Chocolate Mix: Holy shit this stuff is tasty! You will receive 3 random pieces of a chocolate imported from Ukraine. WARNING THIS DOES CONTAIN NUTS!!!!
Strange Creature Wooden Amulet: This Strange little creature is for your strange little self, its iconography has been burned into a sacred wooded disc. Carry on your person to have your dooder in physical and tangible form while venturing to places of the unknown.
