Sparkle the Christmas Light ~ Vintage

Sparkle the Christmas Light is another throwback to my beloved childhood. I remember coveting and wanting this damn light bulb as a baby witch. For those unaware, Sparkle was the greatest Christmas light ever created. Its exact origins are not totally clear but it was released sometime in the mid to late 1980s.

Originally advertised on television, the light eventually made its way to Canadian stores. Sparkle was an oversized red light with a big smiling face and a gold crown on his head that was supposed to help Santa find your tree.

I thought we could also level up the magic and put Sparkle in a place of honour, inside a vintage faux oil lamp for all of those that do not have a light string to fit him.
