It is alleged that carrying a bean for 7 days in your pocket, purse or wallet will help you obtain your desires. On the 7th day, take the beans and throw them in the crossroads or into running water such as a lake, river, stream, pond or the ocean, call out your wishes. Walk away and don’t look back. Within 7 days, your wishes are alleged to come true.

They can also be used as a good luck charm in your purse or wallet for attracting abundance, prosperity, money, and wealth. If taken to a job interview it is believed to increase confidence, strength, courage, and bring about a desired result. Keeping 3 of the wishing beans in the kitchen is said to ensure that your pantry will never be bare. In love magic, it is thought that if you place 7 mojo beans in a circle on the ground and have the partner of your choice walk over it, they will fall head over heels in love with you.
