The Lucky Golden Four Leaf Clover Chonk Tea Light will add a touch of 90’s whimsy to any room or altar.
A Four Leaf Clover is alleged to offer magical protection, and also ward off bad luck. It was one of the anti-witch plants that protected humans and animals, from spells of malevolent witches and the wiles of fairies. It would bring good luck to all who kept or wore them in button holes and hats.
In 1869 it was written that four-leaf clovers were “gathered at night-time during the full moon by witches. Who would mix them with vervain and other ingredients. While young girls in search of a token of perfect happiness made quest of the plant by day”. An 11-year-old girl wrote, “Did the fairies ever whisper in your ear, that a four-leaf clover brought good luck to the finder?”
Children in the Middle Ages thought that they could see fairies if they carried a four-leaf clover. Druids believed they could see evil spirits when they carried a shamrock, or three-leaf clover.
Candles, candlesticks, & chambersticks are and can be used in religious rituals & for spiritual means as both functional & symbolic lights.
