German stumpenkerzen vintage carved Christmas candle. Absolutely beautiful and GIANT and perfect to adorn your home or Yule altar.
“figure candles” can be used for home blessings, purification, consecration, peaceful home spells and much, much, more. Perfect for the holiday season to aid the household in remaining peaceful. These candles can be used for protection, jinx killing, assisting in rituals of purification and healing. You can carve names into the candles or remove portions of the bottom of the candle to fill with herbs or curios. If you have personal concerns of the persons you are working on, those can be stuffed up into a hole you dig at the base of the candle. They can then be dressed with oil, like you would any other candle.
As Christianity swept into pagan lands, and it officially replaced the old religions, sometimes remnants of the old culture and religion remained, however, and rather than discarding the old gods entirely, some cultures re-branded the native gods as Christian saints.
