This Drakkar Incense Burner + Candle Holder is crafted in the Jelling carving style. The shields on the side have been decorated with Odin’s horns sigils. The ship holds 3 tea light candles and has room to burn 12 incense sticks at the same time. It is possible to hang the ship up by running cords through the holes in the head and tail of the dragon ship.
In Norse “drakkar” translated means “dragon” and refers to a special Viking ship with a dragon head at the front. These iconic vessels played a crucial role in the Viking Age, enabling the Norsemen to embark on ambitious voyages, conduct raids, and establish new territories across Europe.
