Clover Trylystok Faberge Egg Amulet

Description

The clover or trylystok (three-leaf) is commonly found on pysanky from the Poltava and Middle Dnipro regions. Believed to invite luck and prosperity to the home and alleged to offer magical protection, and ward off bad luck.

Faberge Eggs (Russian: яйцо Фаберже́, yaytso Faberzhe) are jewelled eggs created by the jewellery firm House of Fabergé, in Saint Petersburg, Russia. Possibly as many as 69 were created. Virtually all were manufactured under the supervision of Peter Carl Fabergé between 1885 and 1917. The most famous are the 52 Imperial eggs made for the Russian Tsars. Alexander III and Nicholas II commissioned as Easter gifts for their wives and mothers. Only 46 of these royal eggs are known to survive.
